Bloomsbury Spring Garden Tea Pot

Look closely at each flower petal and twisting vine on this amazing tea set and you will see the texture of the brush left by the artist applying every detail by hand. No flower is exactly like another. No plastic decal applied here. This is hand painted art composed in an ebullient pattern. Every petal, every leaf is hand painted on the porcelain canvas. This is an art form that we will lose forever when its current practitioners retire because the next generation wants digital age careers. All we can say is, acquire these collector’s pieces now and enjoy them while we still can.
